Device email clients
In general the email clients provided with mobile devices can be configured to connect to Mailtraq in the same way as connecting to your ISP.

Using an email client that supports IMAP-IDLE will allow Mailtraq to provide push-email direct to the device.

We suggest the K-9 email opensource email client for Android devices in preference to the default application provided with the phone.

Account configuration for all email applications is very similar. We provide a detailed example for the iPhone.

• Download Funambol

To download the application from your Android go on the Market and search for Funambol.

• Compatibility

The Android Client is compatible only on devices with 2.0 firmware and later.

Configuration

Configuration follows the general pattern shown in the Mailtraq SyncML KB article.

Server-name will be your Mailtraq server NOT the Funambol server.

For example: http://mail.example.com:7887
