Mailtraq defaults to the domain entered at Options |Server and offers the Domain Aliases in that dialog as alternates in this dialog. Setting the Domain The setting affects all users of the WebMail service. Per-user control By enabling the controls as illustrated: it is possible to allow users to configure their own Reply-To:, From Address, and From Name in webmail. These settings are controlled by the user in their Mail Profile Options | Mail Settings. They are reflected in the User's view - at the confirmation entry in the upper-right corner of webmail pages. This enables the User to specify which domain is used in a multi-domain environment depending on the Profile they select when replying to an email. Configuration Tips1.) Locking Profiles In some environments Admins may want to set which domain certain users have their Mail Profiles set to. To lock a profile, log in as the Admin - grant the privilege to change and configure (above) - switch to the User account and make the desired setting - and then log back in as Admin and revoke the privilege. The Mail Profile will then be locked to the desired configuration. Advanced It is also possible to run multiple WebMail services in Mailtraq, each with different settings.
