Software vendors and resellers like products which are 'rented', providing an on-going revenue stream, however customers tend to prefer to make an outright purchase.

With Mailtraq we try to keep everyone happy.

 We sell non-expiring licenses, but charge for upgrades to the latest version.

This means that:

• a user who buys a license can use that license forever
• the user gets free upgrades to the latest build for 12 months
• the user can purchase another 12 months worth of upgrades for 30% of the current list price

Our online systems are designed to give our resellers this business even if the end-users approach us directly.

 Upgrades to bigger and better editions.

Mailtraq licenses cost more depending on the number of users they will be handling mail for.

Users can upgrade their licenses to handle more users by paying the difference between the current list prices of what they have and what they need.

Users can also choose between several editions of Mailtraq - each edition adds more functionality. If they later need more functionality they can upgrade by paying the difference.
