KB02012801 Internet Explorer Mail (3.0)

This is the mail client provided with version 3 of Internet Explorer (later replaced with Outlook Express)

To configure the mail client, follow these steps :-

1. Go to Mail -> Options
2. Click on the Server tab
3. Fill in all the information you can, setting Outoing Mail (SMTP) and Incoming (POP3) to Your Server's IP Address
4. Select the Logon using option, and enter the name of your user mailbox and its password here
   You do not need to modify any of the Advanced Settings (if you have, reset them to default).
5. Go to the Connection tab and select I use a LAN connection
