info.mailtraq.com > Management > Script Functions A-Z > GetDirectory() GetDirectory()Returns a list of the files in the specified directory. It is also aware of the Mailtraq database and is able to return filenames from the archive volumes which are used for mailslots and POP3 collection accounts. If a fully qualified path is specified, Mailtraq returns the file list obtained from the filing system. If a relative path is given, it is interpreted as having the location of the Mailtraq database folder, \database, as its root.
list := GetDirectory( path )
- path
- The relative or absolute location of the directory or mailslot file
- list
- A comma separated list of the filenames in the specified directory or mailslot file
These examples show the function being used with a normal filing system directory, a directory in the Mailtraq database, an archive directory and the POP3 collection directory:- list := GetDirectory("c:\windows\temp")
list := GetDirectory("mail\outbox")
list := GetDirectory("mail\inbox\johns")
list := GetDirectory("mail\pop3\fred@pop3.example.invalid") |
