KB03102901 How to use Calendars for Project ManagementThe features described here are available in the Professional Edition
Mailtraq allows each user to have more than one calendar, so they can have a calendar to manage their own time, and a separate calendar to manage a project.
In the Mailtraq Console, right-click on a User, and choose “New Calendar”.
In the New Calendar Wizard, enter a name and description for the calendar, and click Next.
Now select the users who will be able to access the calendar, or choose the “Everybody” entry to allow all users to access it. You can give users read-only access, or, by selecting the “Write” checkbox, the ability to modify it.
Once you have completed the wizard, the user will now own a new calendar. This can be seen through the Webmail interface, or, via the Mailtraq Assistant synchronisation, as a calendar within Outlook.
You can now add events in to the project’s calendar, and allow other users to see them.
When you add events via the Webmail interface, you can ask the system to send invitation emails to participants, and the system will keep track of who is able to attend.
