Mailtraq provides comprehensive facilities for collecting and routing mail, and making it available for collection by individual users.
The POP3 protocol can be used at two different places in this process:
Collecting mail by POP3 from an Internet Service Provider's POP3 mailbox
Allowing users to collect mail using POP3 from mailboxes within Mailtraq
The POP3 collection services described in this section refer to the first of the above processes - collecting mail from external mailboxes out on the Internet, and routing the mail to the correct mailboxes within Mailtraq.
