Adding 'Contacts'
Select 'Contacts' from the menu at the head of the webmail page. A drop down menu will give you access to your Personal Address Book and other address books that you have permission to view. If other Users have shared their address books with you they will also be available here. You may add contacts to your own Personal Address Book.
You may also have been given permission to add contacts to other Address books. If you can see an [Add Contact] button at the bottom of the page then you have permission. If this button is absent, then you will need to contact your Administrator. Distribution Lists Mailtraq version 2.8.0.2058 introduced Distribution Lists - this allows Users to create their own list of email addresses under a single entry in the Address Book. These simple lists of email addresses are suitable for small mailing lists of people that you regularly send mail to, such as team members, family or friends.
Distribution Lists are added from the 'Contacts' page in Standard Webmail.
Each list must have a unique name and the email addresses for the list must be entered one per line, and then the list is saved. The Distribution List will show as an entry in the Personal Address Book, and can be selected in the normal way. If the Address Book is shared, then others can have access to the Distribution List. Large numbers of addresses, for mass emailing, should be handled via the Mailing List system accessed by the Mailtraq Administrator in the Console.

You may also access the 'Contacts' system from the 'To', 'CC' and 'BCC' buttons when you are composing an email. When you have selected the desired addresses, click the 'Update' button at the bottom of the page to return to Compose-view.
