Configuration Tip: Read about 'Working with Contacts & Address Books' as a first step.
Addresses are primarily accessed from the Address Book entries in the tree view.
WebMail supports Personal and Global Address Books, as well as the Local Directory.
Contact details can easily be added to Address Books by:
- Right-clicking 'Personal Address Book' in the tree
- Clicking on New | Contact
- Clicking on File | New | Contact
You can also enter supporting information about the contact - phone numbers, street address, etc.
'Contacts' can be copied from the Local Directory and the Global Address Book (GAB) to Users Personal Address books.
Right-click, then Copy ...
This can be useful when the GAB is very large and you want to keep a sub-set of contacts to hand.
Configuration Tip
Users who have Web Administrator privileges can also copy entries from their Personal Address Book to the Global Address Book - this is a quick and easy way to make minor additions to the Global Address Book. |
