KB07103001 Debugging calendar entriesIt is important that all users of the Calendaring system set their machines and their webmail time zones correctly, otherwise appointments set in the calendar can seem to be at the wrong time.
Tip: Always check any daylight savings time settings on the client machine: one hour differences have always turned out to be a DST issue.
Checking your set-up
Make sure the client machines and the Mailtraq machine are set to the same time, time zone and DST setting.
Taking the time of the Mailtraq machine as a basis, where do you see the discrepancy?
If you check the live Mailtraq Event Log - does it agree with the machine time?
If you look at the time stamp of a newly arrived message in webmail does it agree with the server time?
If you look at the same message in your email client (say, Outlook) does it have the correct and same time (within a few minutes)?
Now look at the Calendar time zone setting in Options in webmail- is it set to the correct time zone for that user? Is it the same time zone in Outlook?
If you create a new appointment in the Mailtraq Calendar - does it show the correct time?
If you fire a reminder - does it arrive at the correct time?
