info.mailtraq.com > Calendaring > Calendar Maintenance Calendar Maintenance Calendar Maintenance is accessed from the Properties option of the User's Calendar in the main Mailtraq Console
Removing Duplicates
The [Delete Duplicates] button will remove true duplicate calendar entries.

It is recommended that you ensure you have a valid backup of your Calendar before removing duplicates. You may either use the inbuilt backup facility in the Mailtraq Console at the Options Menu... which will backup all calendars on the server, or do an individual Calendar file backup manually.
Archive Old Items
Users who wish to synchronize their calendars with desktop programs or mobile devices should reduce the number of past entries to a minimum to facilitate the synchronization.
Mailtraq provides an archiving feature in the "Maintenance" tab of the calendar in the Mailtraq Console.
Maintenance should be performed from time to time by clicking the [Archive Now] button, when the sync process time becomes extended.
The system Administrator should manually create an additional user-calendar as an 'archive calendar' in the Console, and then configure the main calendar to archive to it.
See 'Multiple & shared calendars'.
Access archived calendars via webmail

The archive calendar will be accessible to the user via the User's webmail account in the normal way.
Calendar Backup
Calendars are backed up as part of the normal Mailtraq Live Backup process.
You can - and should - backup individual calendars before manipulating them via the Console.
Select the Calendar, then right-click to get the context menu to Backup... and Restore... if later necessary.
