Mail Group - Mailboxes

Mailboxes Tab
This tab, which appears on the Mail Group Properties dialog, configures the message volumes permitted for mailboxes in the mail group within each accounting period

Maximum Number/Size...
These limits are imposed over each accounting period. For example, if the limit is 100kb per period and the accounting period is one week, the user associated with any mailbox in that group may post up to 100kb per week.

Warn on exceeding limit
This facility sends a message to the user when the given percentage of their limit is exceeded (for example, if the warning is set to 90% and the weekly posting limit is 100kb, then the user will receive a warning via post after posting 90kb worth of mail. Only one warning is sent per period.

Maximum Mailbox Size
This setting controls the maximum size which the mailbox content is allowed reach during the accounting period. Messages which would result in the mailbox size exceeding the limit are refused.
