SOCKS Proxy Client

The SOCKS client enables an alternate method of outbound message delivery.

The SOCKS client enables messages to be sent via a remote SOCKS proxy server, typically on port 1080 so that outbound email can avoid blocked Port 25 for SMTP delivery.

SOCKS Server

The client must, of course, connect to a Server 'outside' the controlled space.

You can find a list of Proxy Servers here...

A second instance of Mailtraq can also be configured to be a SOCKS Proxy Server

Operation

The Proxy is only available if the
[x] Enable Advanced Outbound Router
option is enabled in the Outbox Properties | Options-tab
