info.mailtraq.com > Calendaring > Time Zones Time ZonesImportance of Time Zones Mailtraq takes its awareness of time zones from the User's webmail setting. It is important that you set this with care as the different time zones offered reflect the DST (daylight savings time) rules for the various locations, so for example (-5) Bogata does not behave the same as (-5) Eastern. Mis-setting your time zone can result, for example, in appointments showing at an unexpected time in shared calendars.
Even if you do not generally use the Mailtraq web-based calendar, but are using MOS or SyncML to Outlook or another desktop client you should set your local time zone in Standard Webmail | Options. See how ... The Admin can set the Default Time Zone in the Admin Options - Calendaring Settings
Windows Time Always make sure that Windows is showing the correct time. You should use the 'Internet Time' facility to ensure this is automatically kept to the correct settings. |
